Amazed Once Again

I know that I have been quite taken by the redpolls, and that I'm blown away by their presence here, let alone their numbers. I thought it would only happen once, but this morning it happened again.
I took some videos, with my little old Canon, and they aren't that great, but it is a record of what I was seeing.

As I wait for the videos to upload, (not sure they will), (they did!!!),there was another gathering, not as many, and they didn't stay as long.
And another, just now. Maybe it is the same birds, returning........
I have never experienced this before.......Amazing!

  1. Are those the ones I was asking what the bird with the red chest at the feeder was, the day we went for lunch? Amazing crowd! Maybe they check www.squirreltripadvisor.nut too ;)

    1. Yes, that's them. You are sure getting mileage out of your made up web site. I am hopefully out of business with the squirrels, 10 is the end....I hope.

What does Sadie think of these creatures out her window?

Juliet had twins Thursday night...we're in to the Spring lambing now!

    1. A scene out of Hitchcock's The Birds, perhaps? Sadie does not make too much of it. I think she focuses her eyes further away. Pictures Heather, I need pictures of these new babies, but I know you don't have time. xxoo

  3. Gosh, i see what you mean, Bonnie! Such a lot of birds at one time. Mind you, in snowy weather they do flock to those places they can find food, so your kindness is paying off.

Congratulations on uploading your own videos. That's something I haven't attempted yet.

  4. It took quite a long time for them to upload, Perpetua. I almost gave up, then decided to walk away and do something else. When I came back, there they were. I was quite pleased.

    1. Thank you Stacy. Nova Scotia is beautiful, much more so in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
