Time

Here we are. in the last week of August. It seems the summer has flashed by, and the mornings here are getting quite chilly....autumn coming....

September will bring the beginning of routine, and I guess I'm looking forward to it, but I certainly hope that Miss September will bring with her a dose of energy, because I am seriously lacking in that area.

I have spent the last several days painting, and now I think I will put the paints away for a week or so, and hit the books, searching for information on the book of 1st Samuel, and trying to come up with some new and inspiring songs for the choir. Both groups will be starting up early September.

Quite often I will see a little sparrow sitting on the lilies

The last shot of the rock painting is cute.

    Have a good week.

    1. Thank you Margie. I gave the rock face to my little friend. I love to see the reaction. He's three. He looked at the rock and pointed out the eyes, nose, mouth. So sweet. Have a great week. Hugs.

  2. Bonnie, I love that you paint! I think it is so cool that you nurture your artist side. Wondering what Miss September will bring. Hope she gifts you with some energy.

    1. The energy has not shown up yet, but here's hoping.... :)
I think I would go a little more crazy than I already am if I didn't have my painting, felting and music.

  3. Oh, the paintings (and rocks) are so beautiful. How creative you are, Bonnie!

Yes, summer is waning, but I have put away the summer decorations and pulled out those of autumn. I love fall colors best, so it makes the transition a little easier. xo

    1. You have mentioned before that you love fall, so your season is coming up. I hope it is a good one on the bayou. On one of the rocks I painted I put the words you shared with me quite a while ago; Acknowledge, Disperse and Dispel. Thank you. I look at the words all the time and try to apply them.

    1. I am always looking for clarity, Perpetua. We've been going through the Old Testament, and it is quite a challenge. Hope you are well settled at home now.
