Here we go again.....
Heavy, wet snow....
Birds and squirrels hunt for seeds
Laden branches blow....
Hanging very low....
House bound once again.....
This winter's been 'too much'...
O Spring, I ache for you
Come quickly
I miss you so!
Hi Bonnie, we got another 9" of snow last night, but of course, we welcome it. I'm going out to cross country ski soon - the sun is out and sky is blue. Your snow looks lovely on the laden trees and shrubs. Hope it will melt in no time and you can be out and about.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be quite a while before all these hills of snow melt.Do enjoy your skiing. I did try cross country once, a long time ago and ended up with my head in a snow bank. :)
DeleteI know it is quite a pain, but we do have to appreciate the beauty! Especially compared to the grey snowbanks, washboard roads and icy sidewalks in the city!
ReplyDeleteLove you! xo hj
It could be a lot worse, I know, but honestly it is getting to be too much..... Love you too.
DeleteYou must almost dread seeing it start to snow yet again after the winter you've had. I do hope it eases up soon, though I know your spring is still some way off.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to March the 20th, even though I know it is just a dream that all this white weather will magically stop on the first day of Spring.
DeleteAs you well know, I feel your pain Bonnie. Time to start wandering through the aisles of Home Depot's greenhouse, and sniff that wonderful scent of moist earth. Buy a Hyacinth and let that smell infuse the air in your house ...
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas Cactus blooming again, gives me a little colour. It just keeps on blooming. I'm sure you'll see green before we do, where you are close to the water.
