The Captain wants to plow the driveway, so I had to shovel a pathway so he could get to it. We'll see what happens.
**************************
I am not even sure when I started this post, but the heavy snow we received has now gone, because it has rained for two days while the temperature stayed mild, and now the weather has done a one eighty and it is bitter cold again. Such is winter I guess.
Little Aslan has become quite comfortable with his surroundings. He can tell when I open my laptop and races from where ever he is to pounce on it and send the settings all whacky. I am able to this now, because he has discovered the basement and is presently investigating it. He has caused me to be extremely neat, making sure all loose items (pens, pencils, paper, etc.) are put away so that he can't get them in his nightly antics. He is a little sweetheart despite his getting into everything that is not nailed down.
Pictures of the big snow.......
So the week has come to an end and I must say that I have had more energy than in
past weeks. Still dragging a bit, but I'm positive that the weird weather
has a lot to do with my moods.
One foot in front of the other.....
the only way to get ahead....
Till next time,
Cheers
Beautiful pictures Bonnie. We have a sprinkling of snow but nothing compared to that. I wish I could transport Squeak over to you for a wee look-- but just a WEE look! I want her back :-))
ReplyDeleteThanks Irene. The snow is gone now after a heavy rain. I would love to have Squeak visit, but I'm pretty sure she would not appreciate our weather. :)
DeleteYou must have started that post last weekend - when I first started reading about the snow, I thought "Wow, the weather is significantly different in the valley than it is here on the shore!". :) Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling a little more energy...you need it to keep up with that bad kitten!
Love you - xoxoxox
Aslan is not 'bad', he's.....energetic with a touch of OCD. It is difficult to teach a cat not to do something. He is persistent in his desire to do something he shouldn't.....but he is very loving, and that makes up for his 'badness'.
DeleteThis has been quite the winter and we're not done yet.
ReplyDeleteI think your weather out west is just as crazy as ours here, except perhaps your temperature, which is always much colder.....though you do have those chinooks.
DeleteWe used to have real winters too. Nowadays, I see the children going downhill on a layer snow about an inch thick!! I loved that film with Aslan, hope there will be a sequel! I pray you will gain strength and see light coming brighter and brighter, inside and outside. And yes, I hope my burdens will ease off, but not for some time as yet.
ReplyDeleteYou're so kind, Bonnie!!! Bless you!
We have gone from lots of snow to bare ground and now this morning, we are having a light snow shower. It would be nice if the snow came and stayed as we need the ground cover. Take care, and may God bless you.
DeleteI'm feeling envy over all these snow pictures I'm seeing. Of course, I don't really want it here because Nashville shuts down completely when it snows. We had a light dusting and I couldn't even leave the house to go to the gym. But it's SO pretty to look at...as long as it stays off the streets!
ReplyDeleteThe snow didn't last, and rain and freezing rain took its place. Thank you for dropping by. I had a look at your blog, and will be checking back and following on Twitter.
