Well, it has been quite a year. A year of changes, sorrow, wild fire and drought.
The Captain died in April, succumbing to Covid pneumonia, though I didn't know he had it till after his passing. He was quite weak, falling down and he went to the hospital where he died the next morning.
With wildfires and the woods being closed, we weren't able to get to the camp until the end of October. He wanted his ashes spread there because it was a special place for him. Family and friends met there, spoke of memories, spread his ashes, then had a meal together at a restaurant near by.
We had a wildfire quite near to us, which was a bit scary. I thought it was closer than it was. Prior to this one, there was another, larger fire further down the valley.

This is what how the sky appeared one afternoon, caused by the smoke from the wildfire further west from us.
We also had a drought and I was 10 weeks without water. Finally got it back last week. How great it is to finally turn on the tap and get water.
I have had a real go on, felting, felting and more felting. Not sure what I'll do with them all.
Spent Christmas day with family, at Ironwood farm. It was wonderful having
all the family together. Lambs being born was an added enjoyment.
Baby lambs.
They are so precious.

Aslan was worn out on New Year's Eve.
It was a rough year.
Aslan cannot leave things alone. He has to be right in the middle of everything.
Season's Greetings
And best wishes
For a
